Other satellite providers in Europe have removed HD channels entirely from their EPGs to encorage people to go to streaming devices. Far too many glitches for sky stream to ever have been released on the market in my book! When the screen goes blank and suddenly dissappears I always check the other news channels and they work fine. Not had any issues for some while with watching the channel on my Sky Stream.

• It’s likely you have lost signal on the multiplex that carries them.
• Now it’s happening again on Sky news it is happening every time I go back to it.
• It might be worth continuing to retune every day or so because what you might find with Freeview is that weather and other conditions really affects groups of channels.

It seems like a lot of broadcasters who have HD channels use a HD to SD version for the SD version, so it feels like a better version of SD than traditional SD. I certainly do feel more cozy at home with the Christmas music/movie channels on in the background, especially while bringing down the Christmas tree…… Roll on to the changeover the Christmas music channels on Sky too… Should change it to a “Sky Christmas” FAST channel, showing all Christmas content from the full range of channels from Sky. It’s so sad to see the remaining (of what was) Sky Sports Active interactive channels closing. Sky TV channels on PlayStation and Xbox

You’re right, I’m not interested in business news and really dislike his reporting style in particular his constant use of the phrase “and interestingly …” or similar. You’re obviously not interested in business news. OK, so if it’s not a funding/studio location issue, what’s your explanation as to where he’s disappeared to?

We are aware of this issue and support teams are currently looking at it. @IanW12  please see post marked as answer. Therefore it must be a Samsung/Sky issue I have the same issue and happened at same time . I messaged Samsung help through their Community channel and they didn’t really understand.

Likewise to @lettice  we watch prabhu365-nepal.com/app/ GB News on and off most days and never had a problem. Not had any problems with GB News of late and watch it most days through the morning and afternoon. Yes always have problems with GB news- right now, it has gone off and just have a blue screen. I likewise watch GB News quite regularly and have no problem at all. If you have, if you could provide the answers to the above questions, that’d be appreciated.

Great – yes, I can now see that a number of different channels disappeared at the same time – including those you named.I’ve been doing a daily retune and they are now all back.Thanks for the solution It would make sense that Sky channels are on the same mux so if you’re having trouble connecting to that it would explain why all of the Sky freeview channels have knocked off. It might be worth continuing to retune every day or so because what you might find with Freeview is that weather and other conditions really affects groups of channels. Are you also missing channels including E4 Extra, Quest Red, u&Dave, Food Network? The Sky channels are definitely still available on Freeview. They would lose money if they did that.And actually, doing a little research, many channels that are in HD usually only broadcast the HD content.
